Welcome to E-Karate!

We are a non-profit community organization devoted to strengthening and developing children through traditional forms of karate. Our program is multi-dimensional, designed to teach children basic self-defense skills in a safe, inclusive setting. We emphasize respect and self-control, traditional values found in most martial arts. Some of our students are typically developing while others have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delays, and other neuro-cognitive conditions. Every student participates to the fullness of their ability and are recognized for their achievements. Their successes in our program demonstrate what extraordinary things can be done when opportunities are provided.

Our program has been running since December 2000, and we now have classes in three counties (San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda).
